Introduction
The first Teamwork for Integrated Emergency Management course is being implemented in South, Southeast and East Asia in three phases over the span of an eight-month period of collaborative learning and capacity building from August 2005 to March-April 2006. Phase 1: two-week workshop from August 15 - 26, 2005; Phase 2: from September 2005 to March 2006; and Phase 3: one week workshop after March 2006.

The MEP education strategy will undergo continuous monitoring and evaluation by the partners to make sure it accords with the goals of MEP in general, as well as the specific goals and objectives identified for the programme's education component.
